DIA has two divisions, industry and concept, and each division is further divided into four areas: "cultural creation," "smart life," "industrial equipment," and "digital economy." It covers a wide range of design areas such as services, business solutions, and social innovation, as well as goods. The theme of 2022 is "design cooperation", and it is expected that barriers will be removed through design and a new harmony relationship will be built in the age of with Corona.
Each category has a special prize where prize money is T-Shirt Design provided, and 1 million yuan (about 19 million yen in Japanese yen) is awarded to the gold prize winners in the industrial category. DIA also has a program to help match the manufacturing industry with the winners. Participation fee is free for both departments, and applications are accepted on the official website.
